September 21, 2005 – East Brunswick over J.P. Stevens 25-16, 25-18
East Brunswick looked strong playing against J.P. Stevens. Andrea Temkin had a long string of service wins to get the first game off to a good start. Jen Strapko, Allanah Miller and Melissa Favis wouldn’t let the ball drop. Anna Chesnakova, Marissa Nadeau, Michelle Sempkowski and Jessica Gulutz were dominating at the net. In the second game, Anne Ruffner, Ivana Kapetanovic, Kristina Borisova and Kristen Semeniak showed that the Bears have good depth.
The Junior Varsity won the first and third games with a strong showing by Marta Matera, Michelle Demarzo, Joyce Kim, Hanjing Cao, Grace Huang and Haidi Parais.
