East Brunswick’s offense was unstoppable against South Plainfield. East Brunswick Senior Shannon Mastrogiovanni scored an
amazing 7 goals and added an assist. Fellow teammates Nicole Wasilus and Carolina Marrero each scored 4 goals, while
Kirsten Gash, Adda Gutman and Christina Kmiecek also scored. East Brunswick goalie Jillian Pennington had 14 saves.
East Brunswick is now 4-5 for the season.
April 24, 2007 – Old Bridge 16, East Brunswick 7
East Brunswick had a tough time handling a strong Old Bridge team. East Brunswick got two
goals each from Shannon Mastrogiovanni, Lauren Onifer and Carolina Marrero.
The other goal was scored by Katie Chase.

April 21, 2007 – Rutgers Prep 16, East Brunswick 9
East Brunswick could not contain the strong offense of Rutgers Prep. East Brunswick got three goals from
Shannon Mastrogiovanni, two goals from Lauren Onifer and one goal from Adda Gutman and Christina Kmiecek. Bears
goalie Jillian Pennington had 8 saves. East Brunswick is now 3-4 for the season.
April 19, 2007 – East Brunswick 11, South Brunswick 9
East Brunswick won a slug fest against South Brunswick. The Bears were up 5-4 at the half and added six more goals
in the second half to stay ahead a South Brunswick team that added 5 goals of their own in the second half.
Scoring for East Brunswick were: Shannon Mastrogiovanni(6 goals),
Lauren Onifer, Nicolle Donlon, Kirsten Gash, Carolina Marrero and Wasilus. Bears
goalie Jillian Pennington had 12 saves. East Brunswick is now 3-3 for the season.
April 14, 2007 – Voorhees 12, East Brunswick 3
East Brunswick’s two game winning streak came to an end against a talented Voorhees team.
Shannon Mastrogiovanni had 2 goals
for East Brunswick with teammate Nicolle Donlon scoring the other goal.
Katie Chace had an assist for East Brunswick.
Bears goalie Jillian Pennington had 14 saves.

East Brunswick won a shotout against J.P. Stevens. Shannon Mastrogiovanni shot 4 goals and had 3 assists for East Brunswick.

East Brunswick got off to a strong start against Old Bridge and at the half was up 3-2. The second half was rough with
Old Bridge over-powering East Brunswick 7-2. Old Bridge junior Sam Kochie scored four goals. Shannon Mastrogiovanni scored
two goals for East Brunswick as did Nicolle Donlon and Christina Kmiecek rounded out the scoring. Lauren Onifer and Shannon Mastrogiovanni had assists for East Brunswick

East Brunswick lost the season opener against Westfield. The Bears fell behind 4-1 in the first half and despite scoring
7 goals in the second half, they were not able to close the gap. Senior Shannon Mastrogiovanni scored six goals for
East Brunswick. Also scoring for East Brunswick were Katie Chace and Nicolle Donlon. Jillian Pennington had 10 saves in goal for the Bears.
