March 2, 2005 – First Round, Central Jersey Group 4 Tournament – East Brunswick 54, Middletown North 37: East Brunswick had only a two point lead at the half, but surged forward in the second half with swarming defense and great foul shooting, they proved too much for Middletown North. February 15, 2005 – Preliminary Round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament (GMC): East Brunswick 81, Iselin Kennedy 29: East Brunswick got off to a fast start and never looked back. Scoring for East Brunswick were: Megan Mayo (11 points), Jess Campbell (10 points), Candice Green (10 points), Lauren Dudra (10 points) Anna Chesnakova (10 points), Laura Petriello (8 points), Erin Whalen (7 points), DeFalco (7 points), Riccio (5 points) and Michele Mariski (3 points).
February 10, 2005 – East Brunswick 49, J.P. Stevens 41: Jess Campbell and Megan Mayo each scored 7 points in the first half to help the Bears take a 22-15 lead over J.P. Stevens (15th in Star-Ledger) at the half. East Brunswick did not let up in the second half and held on to win. Way to go Bears! January 31, 2005 – Perth Amboy 57, East Brunswick 49: Megan Mayo had a tremendous game, scoring 19 points, but it was not enough for the Bears to overcome Perht Amboy. January 29, 2005 – East Brunswick 76, Carteret 51: Megan Mayo (22 points), Jess Campbell (15 points) and Laura Petriello (14 points) were unstoppable agains Carteret. January 25, 2005 – East Brunswick 56, Edison 46: Jess Campbell and Laura Petriello quickly got East Brunswick off to a lead and the Bears never looked back. Scoring for East Brunswick High School were:

January 8, 2005 – J.P Stevens 63, East Brunswick 56: East Brunswick gave the 9th ranked J.P. Stevens team a run for their money, but even with nine 3 point shots in the game, they couldn’t quite pull the game out. With 17 seconds left in the game the score was 59-56, but J.P. Stevens made 4 foul shots to lock up the victory.
January 6, 2005 – Piscataway 46, East Brunswick 31: Jess Campbell was the top scorer for the Bears with 8 points.
January 4, 2004 – East Brunswick 41, South Brunswick 36: Jess Campbell and Candice Green know how to score when it counts. Jess Campbell scored 6 of her 8 points during a 16-6 run in the second quarter helping the Bears come back from a 10 point deficit. Candice Green scored all 6 of her points in the second half including a 3 pointer that gave the Bears a 38-36 lead. December 30, 2005 – East Brunswick 57, West Windsor-Plainsboror North 45: East Brunswick High School girls basketball team won the third place game in the War of the Worlds Tournament at West Windsor-Plainsboro North. Megan Mayo scored 8 points in the fourth quarter to help East Brunswick pull away. Scoring for the Bears were: Erin Whalen (12 points), Megan Mayo (12 points), Laura Petriello (12 points), Jessica Campbell (10 points), Green (8 points), Defalco (2 points) and Anna Chesnakova (1 point). East Brunswick’s season record is now 5-1.
December 29, 2005 – Hillsborough 59, East Brunswick 56: East Brunswick High School girls basketball lost their first game of the season in a hard fought battle against Hillsborough in the semifinal round of the War of the Worlds Tournament at West Windsor-Plainsboro North. Scoring for East Brunswick were Megan Mayo (16 points), Jessica Campbell (15 points), Laura Petriello (11 points), Erin Whalen (5 points), Green (5 points), Anna Chesnakova (2 points) and DeFalco (2 Points).
December 27, 2005 – East Brunswick 65, Princeton 19: East Brunswick High School girls basketball completely dominated Princeton in the first round of the War of the Worlds Tournament at West Windsor-Plainsboro North. Laura Petriello (21 points) and Megan Mayo (17 points) led the scoring for Bears. Also scoring for East Brunswick were: Erin Whalen (3 points), Jess Campbell (8 points), Anna Chesnakova (4 points), Candice Green (6 points), Dudra (2 points), Lang (2 points) and DeFalco (2 points). East Brunswick remains perfect for the season at 4-0.
December 23, 2004 – East Brunswick 48, Woodbridge 33: The East Brunswick High School girls basketball team improved to 3-0 by defeating Woodbridge at home. Megan Mayo scored 15 points to lead all players, and Jess Campbell scored 13 points for East Brunswick.
December 21, 2004 – East Brunswick 51, Edison 43: Laura Petriello scored 18 points in the winning effort for the Bears. Anna Chesnakova and Green each scored 8 points. Mayo also scored 11 points.
December 17, 2004 – East Brunswick defeated Old Bridge to start off the season on the right foot!
