East Brunswick had a really tough night against a very strong Piscataway team. Candice Green was the main bright spot, making a couple of really sweet 3 pointers and scoring 17 points overall. Piscataway’s quickness lead to so many turnovers that really hurt the Bears. On defense the Bears hung tough, with Kristie Lang and Anna Chesnakova disrupting Piscataway’s efforts, but Piscataway had the ball far to frequently. East Brunswick was down 24-11 at the half, and never was able to get a good run going. Scoring for the Bears were: Candice Green (17 pts), Jess Campbell (4 pts), Megan Mayo (3 pts), Anna Chesnakova (2 pts) and Ali Riccio (6 pts). The Bears are 15-3 for the season.
