East Brunswick Volleyball Game Summary
November 3, 2006 – State Tournament Second Round: East Brunswick Defeats Hackensack 25-16, 25-12
East Brunswick dominated Hackensack in the second round of the NJSIAA Group IV State Tournament. The Bears as usual made very few mistakes. On serve, East Brunswick featured hard serves that were fired with pinpoint accuracy – Andrea Temkin, Anne Ruffner and Michelle Sempkowski each had several aces. Ivana Kapetanovic, Mellisa Favis, Michelle Sempkowski and Allanah Miller all made numerous kills. The Bears looked very strong and will take a lot of momentum into the quarter finals against Watchung Hills, Tuesday 4PM at home. Come out and cheer on the team! East Brunswick is now 29-0 for the season.
