East Brunswick brunswick played tough against North Brunswick but couldn’t keep up with the North Brunswick Raiders. North Brunswick scored first on a one yard run by Max Emmanuel. The extra point put the Raiders up by 7. East Brunswick responded and moved smartly down the field with several nice passes from Kevin Hemmings to Sean O’Sullivan, Aidan Werder and Sam Walker. Finally what seemed like a third down touchdown by Sam Walker was ruled down at the 1. So Kevin Hemmings ran in a quarterback sneak for the score. Unfortunately for the Bears, a missed extra point was followed up by a 92 yard kick return for a touchdown by Rex Thomas for North Brunswick. The Raiders poured it on then with two more touchdown passes to Joe Castellanos from Kevin Poindexter. At the end of the half the Bears were threatening, but couldn’t quite score. In the third quarter, Sean O’Sullivan scored a touchdown on a 26 yard pass from Kevin Hemmings, but it was too little too late.
